Presentation of España 2000

España 2000 (E-2000 - Spain 2000) is an ultra-rightist party founded in 2002. Claiming to be "populist, social and democratic", España 2000 has no parliamentary representation, either at the national or regional levels. The party is currently led by José Luis Roberto (b. 1953), a noted extreme-rightist leader in the Valencian Community.

Flag of España 2000

España 2000 uses a white flag with its logo and a red horizontal stripe near the bottom (photo, photo, photo). There is sometimes additional writing in the red stripe (photo).
España 2000 also uses the Spanish national flag defaced with the red-yellow-red flame taken from the party's logo, and the writing "ESPAÑA 2000" in the lower red stripe (photo, photo, photo). The red stripes are, seemingly, narrower than on the national flag, maybe to allow more space to the flame in the broader yellow stripe.

The red-yellow-red flame is a straightforward reminiscence of the emblem of the French Front National, itself borrowed from the Italian Movimento Sociale Italiano. The Front National encouraged and supported the establishment of España 2000.
As in the Italian and French models, the flame is vertically divided in the national colors, here red-yellow-red.
